JOB TITLE : Engineer in Data Analysis and Data Management

Part of the team responsible in the development and improvement of Data Analysis and Data Management

Ensure data processing capabilities and predictive algorithm to be transferred to a Maintenance support tool

CONTEXT:

Alstom is developing different monitoring systems dedicated to Infrastructure Maintenance Project.

The data analysis and data management tools are developed to become a main Service of Infrastructure monitoring on the Worldwide Railway Market .

This development approach consists to:

·  Record data with different type of sensors
·  Transfer data (automatically or not)
·  Pre-process the data received for the data captured equipment
·  Collect, filter and transfer to those data to a dedicated web-platform
·  Ensure the development of the visualization interfaces
·  Coordinate the preparation of the predictive algorithm to apply on those data for Infrastructure maintenance purpose
·  Benchmark potential alternative suppliers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The « Health Hub Infrastructure » project objective is to implement Condition based survey on several Infrastructures such as (Tracks, Rails, Catenaries …).

The target is to put in place efficiently the automatic data capture, transfer and correct visualization to a friendly user interface in order to support maintenance operation for the Infrastructure. This service proposal either on Alstom Maintenance Sites or External Customer Sites.

Main Responsibilities are :

·  Data Analysis:
·  Design of the algorithms in relation with the client
·  Production of the algorithm in charge of the data set processing
·  Adaptation and validation with the existing measurement data set
·  Integration of the algorithm in an industrial environment
·  Monitoring of measures in order to build prognosis models
·  Data Management
·  Integration of the data analysis algorithms in a concrete environment
·  Production of the algorithms in charge of the management of the data
·  Adaptation and validation of the algorithms in an industrial environment
·  Management and monitoring of an IT network

The data Analysis and Data Management responsibilities will be applied on the several project such as WCML, PRASA, REIMS, SYDNEY…

KNOWLEDGE:

·  Railway Infrastructure general understanding
·  Maintenance understanding
·  Data capture understanding
·  Data analysis and signal processing  in several environments (Matlab, VBA, Python, C/C++, Fortran, R, …)
·  Data management (Data Base, Web, …)
·  Project Management (QCD)

QUALIFICATIONS :

General Engineer or PHD experienced in computing science. Any experiences in data capture and/or in the railway sector will be appreciated.

TYPE OF CONTRACT:

Long Term Contract starting from November 2016
