Purpose of the internship:

As “Automation Design Engineer” (Trainee) in case of projects:

·  Assist the “Automation Technical Manager” in his role of performing the basic and detailed automation and monitoring engineering and network architecture activities of a traction innovation project (metro and tramway),
·  Responsible for the architecture software and software development basic and detailed design,

Participate to the REX (Return of Experience) of the project.

Organisation Reporting

The position reports hierarchically to the “Automation Team Leader”.

The position reports functionally to the “Automation Technical Manager” of the innovation project.

Responsibilities

As “Automation Design Engineer” in project:

·  Perform the Automation basic engineering activities of a project:
·  Participate to define architectures for automation and monitoring systems,
·  Participate to define the functional specification for automation and monitoring systems
·  Define the software architecture and database architecture for automation and monitoring systems.
·  Perform the Automation detailed engineering activities of a project:
·  Software development : automation system , server system, man machine interface, database, web services,
·  Participate to the factory acceptance tests of the different systems and software.
·  Assist the “Automation Technical Manager” about all automation interfaces and risks to be managed,
·  Participate to the As-built documentation drawings modifications.

Knowledge & Experience

·  Last year of engineering school in SCADA systems, automation system, Ethernet network architecture, WEB services,
·  Test and commissioning software experience appreciated,
·  A first experience in WEB technologies, software development, database architecture appreciated
·  Good knowledge of automation systems,
·  Autonomy, motivated, initiative, and interested in technical topics,
·  Fluent English, second language appreciated.
