JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:
• Deliver projects that meet business requirements on time and within budget.
• Manage projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Create and maintain project plan; identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones tasks; collect and report on progress to plan against individual project tasks as well as against the overall project.
• Work with functional managers to ensure complete and appropriate resourcing; perform project plan analysis to identify critical path and resource issues.
• Assign and manage work of project team members; provide support and direction.
• Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions, address resource issues.
• Create and execute a communication plan that includes both internal and external project communication.
• Regularly meet with project sponsor and stakeholders to build relationship and manage expectations.
• Manage the project budget, provide change control and ensure business readiness.
• Manage issues and risks from identification to resolution.
• Manage project documentation including project deliverable documents (scope, requirements/user stories, test plan and results) status reports, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Ensure compliance with company project management policies and standards.

Candidates Must Have:
• Scrum Master experience
• Great interpersonal and communication skills; projects require heavy interaction with Business and IT leadership across the organization
• Experience with medium to large sized systems projects that are moderate to high complexity
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, solve problems and adapt to change.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies (SLDC, Waterfall, Iterative)
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology; ability to organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies.
• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Server

Education & Experience:
• Must have experience managing agile scrum teams.
• Must have at least three years project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired.
• PMP certification or other formal project management training desired.
