JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Ensure new product calculations are validated and consistent with the business and quality objectives
-Evaluates product risk to business and sets appropriate monitoring strategy
-Escalation path for question regarding system functionality and calculations is in place.
-Decisions and assumptions on calculations are logged within source of truth documents
-The conceptual design and any changes impacting the system is understood
-Establishes the depth and width of test coverage for input to the overall testing strategy/plan in alignment with quality targets and risk framework
-Ensure input from stakeholders to feed test strategy (UAT, DEV, QA, Regression)
-UAT strategy/Plan is created and in alignment with the Business quality objectives and requirements
Other:
-Understand complex tools, advanced Microsoft Excel functionality
-Expected to have a thorough understanding of our products and administrative systems, as well as being knowledgeable in related regulations.
-Actuarial concepts and mathematics are the foundation in many cases.
-Designs, develops and conducts data collection, validation, analysis and reporting to various stakeholders.
-Assists with training and development of individuals. Peer reviewer of other's work.
-Participates in key initiatives and special projects as assigned.
-Documentation of processes, analysis performed and tools built.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Experience:
3-4 years of experience required: Relevant technical and/or business experience

3-4 years of experience required: Allianz Operations/Actuarial or insurance industry experience

Education
Four-year degree required: Mathematics or related field
