JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the planning and collection of future demands
Support for the development of the category strategy together with the service owners and support for the global implementation
Supporting the development and management of the supplier portfolio
Setup tenders and bidding conventions and develop negotiation strategies
Assistance in preparing, negotiating and concluding Group wide contracts
Implementation of the negotiated contracts and price agreements for IT software licenses, taking into account the Allianz internal guidelines
Management and guidance of operational activities along the value chain of the purchasing process (such as the use of purchasing systems, operational procurement, catalog management, contract management)
Implementation of standards and optimization of processes in the area of IT software licenses
Participation in the execution and preparation of market studies, benchmarks and analyzes
Communication and coordination of the activities with the Allianz Management, the internal business partners (CIO area, Allianz Operating Entities worldwide) as well as the relevant hierarchical levels on the part of the suppliers
Strong target orientation and self-initiative with the ability to coordinate complex issues
Real Team player with a high commitment, who takes ownership of his subjects and tasks
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Completed studies in business economics or business engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing with focus on software / or similar experiences
Good knowledge of contract law for software and licenses (software license, software maintenance, etc.)
Knowledge of different negotiation methods and initial experiences in the independent conduct of negotiations
Knowledge of project management
Fluent in English - German and other language skills are an advantage
Safe handling of MS-Office and Ariba
Strong communication skills in combination with customer orientation
Number affinity, analytical skills
High level of self-initiative, commitment and the ability to work independently
