German Speaking Claims Officer

JOB OVERVIEW :

 

The main duty of a Claims Officer is to handle German claims. Claims Officer will focus on properly assessing and paying claims as per policy terms and conditions.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

·  Checking insurance cover, including preview and premium checks
·  The examination of the entitlement to benefits in accordance with the insurance conditions
·  Assessment of medical conditions and diagnoses
·  The regulation and payment of benefits to our customers 
·  Written correspondence with our customers in German and English language
·  The examination and assessment of recourse claims

 

REQUIRMENTS :

To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:

 

·  High Fluency in German language
·  Fluent English.
·  Medical background (Physician, Pharmacist, Dentist…etc.) is a must
·  Results driven and solution oriented, ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
·  High attention to detail and accuracy, with focus on high quality outputs
·  Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders at a senior level
·  Demonstrates strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude
·  Strong computer skills are essential (high level skill with Microsoft Office products to include: PowerPoint/Excel/Word, as well as Outlook)
·  Works effectively on own initiative
·  Maintains a positive attitude in the face of adversity and competing priorities, ability to work well under pressure
