JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The Economic Research Department mission is (i) to carry out diagnosis, monitoring and forecasts of macro-economic trends on a worldwide basis, (ii) to assess and monitor country risks, industry risks and insolvencies worldwide, and (iii) develop in-depth analyzes on global trade, emerging opportunities and risks and other specific topics such as DSO or commodities, both for internal (strategic, commercial and risk decisions) and external (brand awareness) purposes.

Job purpose / role:
- Support the team of economists in their daily tasks and researches, notably with a focus on North American and Latin American economies, by maintaining database, updating forecasts, responding to urgent queries, writing short notes and talking points, contributing to publications and drawing-up presentations for clients, prospects, media and internal audience.
- Support the team of economists in their projects, by conducting ad-hoc researches, setting up indicators, developing new database/tool to enrich the analysis, and contributing to documentation and presentations.

High quality content delivered in a timely fashion.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Key requirements/skills/experience:
Strong knowledge in economics/statistics (Master's degree in economics with relevant experience). Additional knowledge in micro economy is an advantage.
Very good analytical, research and writing skills in English.
Ability to work in an international environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, in particular Excel.
Experience with economic data providers (such as IHS, Bloomberg) is an advantage.
