JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

In an evolving digital environment, the importance of having accurate, actionable data and reporting is paramount. The Marketing Business Analyst will support the global marketing department of Euler Hermes Group and will get to know new tools and use data skills for reporting and analysis of customer marketing and lead generation initiatives.

For this international role, we are looking for a passionate and results-oriented student in Statistics/ Econometry, who can go beyond traditional data management skills to serve new strategic goals and contribute to the evolution of operational marketing across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Group Head of Operational Marketing and in close cooperation with the Group Marketing Data Analyst, the Business Analyst is contributing to the following missions:

Data management and reporting:
- Create and execute reporting dashboards to compile data from various sources in an easy-to-read format,
- Execute SAS reports, in example for calculating the customer segmentation,
- Produce monthly CRM reporting which tracks sales and marketing performance,
- Support the Data Analyst in the execution of risk monitoring actions,
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to internal processes,
- Perform on-demand analysis in various areas.

Implementation of new ROI tracking reports
- Contribute to the implementation of new BI tool connected to the CRM (Tableau, Clickview or equivalent)
- In liaison with the CRM team, build reports and dashboards for MM executives

Big Data
- Support Group Marketing with the new projects using Big Data, in relationship with the involved countries and the Digital Agency.
Miscellaneous
- Contribute to projects where commercial and marketing data are concerned (ie : market segmentation, new products etc)
- Collaborate with different departments
- Communicate regularly across 8 international regions

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:
- Diploma of Master in Statistics or equivalent
- Proficient in MS office applications and high proficiency in MS Excel, including macros
- Solid knowledge in database management (SAS, SQL, VBA)
- Fluent in English + another language (French preferred)

Experience and key skills
- At least 6 months of professional experience, ideally in a marketing department; Experience in another country would be appreciated.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Team player, good interpersonal skills
- Rigorous and detail oriented
- Familiar with BI softwares and CRM applications (ideally Salesforce.com)
