Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
·  Fluent in English.

A vacancy for a VIE position in Moscow, Russia as Financial Controller support has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space.

Your main mission will be:

·  To support Astrium Joint Ventures Management in the implementation of financial and controlling processes;
·  To support Joint Ventures CFO's and Audit Commissions in the achievement of their missions;
·  To facilitate the day-to-day interfaces between Joint Ventures and Astrium.

This VIE contract starting on 1st September is for a 12 months duration and could be extended for another year.
You will be based in Toulouse for the first month of the contract and the rest of the VIE is in Moscow.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Support to implementation of financial and controlling processes, including:
·  program management, scheduling and controlling,
·  financial planning, budgeting and reporting,
·  cost accounting,
·  bidding.
·  Support to CFO and Audit Commissions, in particular:
·  preparation of financial inputs for reports, bids, reviews, plans,
·  follow-up of business plans,
·  controlling of budgets,
·  cost analysis.
·  Support to day-to-day operations, in particular:
·  action items tracking.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 year's degree (or equivalent) in Finance / Controlling
·  Good knowledge of the IFRS standards
·  At least a previous experience in financial controlling, accountancy, cash flow management
·  Ability to adapt to a new environment
·  Advanced level in English and in French expected for the position.
·  A negotiation level in Russian is mandatory for this position.
