Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
·  Fluent in English.

A VIE for a Financial Business Controller is available within AIRBUS MEXICO Training Centre, in charge of training the Airline personnel: pilots, mechanics, hostesses and stewarts and maintenance staff.

You will be responsible for the development of financial and purchasing processes of Airbus Training Centre in cooperation with the Finance department of Airbus Helicopters.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Develop new training programmes for pilotes, in cooperation with the Mexico Flight School,
·  Coordinate with wider Airbus Mexico Teams (controlling, purchasing, legal, etc…) in collaboration with the headquarter,
·  Monitor the operational and financial performances and improvement/corrective actions to reach the target set by the Director of the training centre and Headquarter,
·  Manage Monthly invoicing and payment processes from Mexican customers in coordination with the commercial area,
·  Supervise the customer debts follow-up and suppliers payments.

This role will involve some travel for business once a year in Europe and frequently in Mexico and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level Master II in International Business with an experience in Finance.
·  Autonomous, proactive, Adaptability, Attitude to work within a team
·  Pack-office Windows
·  Spanish : Advanced Level
·  English : Advanced Level
