Description of the job
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
· European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
· Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
· Fluent in English.

A VIE position as Business Support Operations (BSO) has arisen within SOR department at Airbus Asia Pacific (AMCS) in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). You will be accountable of the business support related activities.
This 24 month's duration contract will start on the 1st of March, 2019 at the earliest.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your missions and activities will be as follows:
· Close to Business to support SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) activities to deploy defined Airbus / SOR standards
· Support the Head Of AMCS on strategy implementation
· Responsible to deploy the operational SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) Business Support scope (Process Quality, Comp & Learning, Business Controlling, Change & Improvement, EHS (Environment Health and Safety) & Governance, Innovation & IS)
· Ensure the guarantee and respect of OTD, on quality & on cost of the deliverables at SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) scope
· Implement, monitor, follow, update SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) dashboard / KPIs and associated actions follow up and closure
· Ensure SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) Business Review Meetings and any reports preparation
· Lead / Support SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) Projects
· Ensure SOR operations ASIA PACIFIC (AMCS) Continuous improvement
o Promote Improvement mindset / process/ methods and tools
o Identify / Ensure Benchmarking and share best practice and propose way forward within AMCS
This role could involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
· Educated to a 5 year's degree in General Engineering or Finance
· Previous experience(s) of - at least - cumulated 52 weeks (including internships and apprenticeships) in a similar position is required (eligibility criteria for the Visa)
· You have skills in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Project Management
· With High knowledge of Excel / Powerpoint
· Having had the opportunity to work on Airbus IT tools is a plus
· Soft skills : good at communicate, autonomous, with a synthetic and structured mind, able to prioritize and put things in place, source of proposals, able to have a short and long term vision, respectful for confidentiality, know-how-to-be.
· Negotiation level of English and French
