Description of the job
A vacancy for a Training Manager and Team Leader (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. As the successful candidate you will join the Training Services of Geo Intelligence cluster (“TCIID1” department).
The department is in charge of the trainings for external customers within the “Intelligence” perimeter. The teams are based in Friedrichshafen, Elancourt and Toulouse.
You will be based in Toulouse and have 2 main roles:
- Management of the Toulouse team (currently 3, to increase in the near future).
- Training manager :be responsible for the training activities in Toulouse.
You will report to the Head of Training Services
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Contribution to achieve Training Services objectives and secure economic targets (team deliverable targets)
• Responsibility for the implementation of training contracts
• Development of the core competences of the team
• Participation in the preparation of cost estimates, specifications, planning etc.
• success in compliance with internal and external guidelines
• Management of customer training programs and activities including i.e. planning, training needs analysis, training development, execution and evaluation
• Monitoring and controlling the activities of sub-contractors or partners
• Transnational cooperation to ensure qualitative, timely and cost-effective project
• Be involved in contract management

Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
• Educated to an Engineering or Business Administration degree or equivalent.
• Successful experience in training services or customer support.
• Previous experience in team management.
• Good knowledge of project management.
• Previous military experience or in Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance would be appreciated.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proactive, and ability to adapt in a complex environment.
• Customer focus.
• Negotiation level of French mandatory.
• Advanced level of English mandatory.
• At least an intermediate level of German would be appreciated.
