Description of the job

A vacancy for a Technology Specialist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse. You will join the ICT Supply Chain Plan & Procurement Department.

IT within Airbus is a Transnational Organisation mirroring the Industrial landscape. IT is currently undergoing a major Digital Transformation programme refocussing on IT Product and Technology Service teams with an E2E accountability and full responsibility for the value proposition.
Working as part of a Multi-functional team you will be expected to understand the current and future business needs and proactively propose opportunities for business transformation/improvement enabled by technology. You will be the Subject Matter Expert advising and delivering a specific technology or methodology use case. Using your skills on SAP systems, you will analyse process variations through data in order to simplify the value chain, enhance the processes and increase productivity. You will be developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) and scaling up to contribute to the future IT digitalisation.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Technology broker role in the frame of SC collaboration providing easy-to-use cloud-based apps, new technologies investigations such as block chain for Supply Chain…
·  Active participation in Innovation Network
·  Analytic assets: Collaborate with the data science team on inventory analytic models and algorithms throughout the organization for Procurement & SC collaboration
·  Intellectual Property management: Develop processes and manage a repository for the capture and sharing of organizational IP (check-in, check-out, versioning) for Procurement & SC collaboration
·  Prove value of new technologies to establish real business value
·  Drives the update of the learning framework based on the known technology
·  Advises on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology
·  Monitoring of technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment
·  Updating the company guidance and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology
·  Guiding and supporting the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies
·  Monitors technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Can make recommendations for buy versus build decision
·  Industrialize process and data mining tooling
·  Train users that will use the tools/applications related to process and data mining
·  Conduct workshops to discover, check the conformity and enhance the processes under study

This role will involve some travel for business 4 times / year in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Engineering degree (Bac +5)
·  Three to five years' experience in SAP
·  Strong functional SAP knowledge across the different SAP modules
·  Experience in data mining
·  Experience in creating and deploying script automation
·  Knowledge of BlockChain Technologies would be a plus
·  Knowledge in analysis tools such as Lumira, Analysis for Office, AirStudio…
·  Knowledge on machinery connection
