Description of the job :
A vacancy for a data analyst with machine learning expertise in Airbus Cyber security Defence Centre has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Cyber Security Department.

About Cyber Security in Airbus:

Today, governments, companies and private individuals are increasingly the target of attacks like theft of intellectual property, sensitive information and even money.
Last year Norton Cybercrime Report estimated the global cost of cybercrime at around 150 billion Euros.
Security threats have increased significantly in the last few years and Airbus faces complex threats. Whilst digitalization is bringing many opportunities it’s also bringing new risks.

The Airbus Cyber Security Defence Centre

With over 10 years’ experience the Airbus Cyber Security Defence Centre has developed a state-of-the art detection capability for cyber threats, to protect Airbus business assets.

Your role as a Data Analyst for Insider Protection:

A user-name and password are no longer sufficient to identify users. The Insider protection team is looking at other indicators to build up a more comprehensive picture of our users and identify the intruders.

Your role:

Your role as a Data Analyst will contribute to the development of the Insider Protection product. The purpose of this product is to be able to analyse the large quantity of data made available to the Cybersecurity Defence Centre from the many security logs, to build up a picture of users and then identify the Insider Threats.

Task & accountabilities :

As the successful candidate your main tasks & accountabilities are:

# Understand the business requirements and the potential sources of data
# Analyse the data contained in the security logs
# Identify KPIs that may indicate a threat.
# Provide meaningful visualisations
# Write detection rules to identify threats
# Work with the team on building a Machine Learning platform and framework
# Contribute to the development and improvement of the Insider Protection product

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

# Master’s Degree in Computer science, AI, Engineering (or equivalent),
• Experienced in Data Analytics and Machine Learning ( anomaly detection algorithms)
• Able to code in R, Python
• Good knowledge of statistics
• Experience with graph databases is a plus.
• Experience of Cybersecurity and/or fraud data analysis is a plus as is experience of SPLUNK ES
• The team works in Agile mode so experience in Agile & SAFE methodology is a plus

• Effective team player with good communication skills
• Eager to learn
• Fluent English, advanced level in French appreciated
