Description of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Airbus Customer Services in Toulouse, to join the Operational Unit "Technical Data", which is in charge of defining digital solution allowing, to deliver and support aircraft maintenance documentation with Customer focus.

Maintenance documentation is directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors), to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations, all along of the aircraft life cycle, following airworthiness requirements and regulations.

Technical Data is organized in 3 authoring Domains and SEDY is in charge of all A/C Systems, Landing Gear, Powerplant and Wiring contents. SEDY is a large transnational organization and has Teams in Germany, France, UK and Spain.

This position opened in TD Systems France SEDYW2, offers a wide view on Digitalization Projects but also on Electrical, Electro-mechanical Aircraft Systems: In direct relation with the Design Office / Upgrades / Suppliers that manage the systems design and evolution pre and post-deliveries. We are in charge of incorporating their impact within the Technical Data Products and to provide services allowing Customers to operate in efficient and reliable manner aircraft operations.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main mission is to:

·  Fully answer to customer's maintenance needs.
·  Support the safety and the maintainability of all Airbus aircrafts in operations by delivering a high quality and customized documentation (electrical consolidated view).
·  Support on daily basis any potential in service issue and be proactive in case of Aircraft On Ground and/or questions raised by any airline,
·  Contribute to airlines profitability by proposing efficiency enhancement.
·  Contribute to future digital initiative developments and enable Services development
·  Manage communication through all internal and external stakeholders including end users (Operators, Lessors, MROs,…)

Within organizational unit in charge of Technical Data Systems, for Schematics & Wiring A-FR (SEDYW2), you will be accountable for the following activities:

·  Support safety for all aircraft programs and ensure customer satisfaction for the growing in service fleet (10.200 A/C by mid of 2018)
·  Answer On Time to customer queries by securing availability within a dedicated team
·  Monitor the 2 Local Line end-to-end chains of productions internally and externally for Aircraft Schematic Manual (ASM), Aircraft Wiring Manual (AWM) and Aircraft Wire List (AWL) ~100.000 drawings / year for 4 Aircraft Programs with relevant reports + alerts to the management.
·  Deploy and secure 3D activities in line with Customer Service objectives
·  Provide accessible information for aircraft operators, secure completeness and accuracy of all delivered information through digital application
·  Contribute, define and lead Innovative projects to provide services to Customers and ease authoring task via Digitalization
·  Secure communication and support customers during deployment phase of innovative projects
·  Secure change management within the teams based in FR and GE
·  Is actor in the PMT (Process Method and Tools) definition and evolution, secure that PMT evolutions are well implemented within the authoring lines
·  Establishment and maintain of efficient link with Engineering and with Suppliers, for source data collection and for validation. The jobholder will work in close cooperation with numerous interfaces: customer services departments, design offices, airlines, subcontractors, suppliers. He will act as Wiring data focal point for the interfaced domain.

The jobholder also plays a key role for SEDYW in terms of continuous improvements for Technical Data processes & tools and for transnational standardization of ways of working.
With credits of experience and upon management nomination, the jobholder could extend his responsibilities by taking transverses missions within SED such as Technical Data Customer Interface (TDCI) aiming at coordinating major Technical Data subject's specific to a portfolio of Airlines/Lessors.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated Master's degree or equivalent training in Digital
·  Communication skills and assertiveness.
·  Solid experience with 3D DMU and 3DGPure
·  Project Management and organization skills
·  Knowledge in Change management
·  Knowledge of aircraft Systems and Aeronautics
·  Aircraft configuration Management
·  Dynamic, Proactive and Positive mind set
·  Curious and open minded for change and continuous improvement.
·  English Advanced level is mandatory
