Description of the job
Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
You will be integrated in EYD - 'Systems General' organisation.
The missions of Systems General are:
· defining and operating harmonised and efficient processes, methods and tools for the design and industrialisation of aircraft systems,
· leading General Systems engineering in research, development, and in-service programs,
· developing general Systems Engineering disciplines to world-classe level.
This department deals with Electromagnetic Hazards (Lightning and High Intensity Radiated Fields) , Electromagnetic Compatibility, as well as mechanical and climatic environments (vibrations, shocks, temperature, contaminants…).
This internship will start on 4th January 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
· Gathering and analysing the results of the transfer function assessments performed on various aircraft. The objective is to establish a repository and a database of the results, according to the programme at stake, the zone on the aircraft, and the exposure of the equipment.
Both the induced effects of lightning and the High Intensity Radiated Fields will be tackled during this internship; for programs ranging from the Single Aisle Family to the recent A350.
· Determining, in liaison with the technical certification specialists, the appropriate structure of the database, and developing the repository with the results of past test campaigns.
Profil recherché
Required skills
You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an engineering school, specialising in electrical engineering.
You ideally have initial experience in this field.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
English: advanced level.
