Description of the job

A position as Structural Test Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEAST-TL3 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Main tasks in this role consist in:

Static, fatigue, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, calibration for in-flight load measurement & dynamic tests:

·  Prepare the test load program-actuator loads
·  Issue the documents (Test Plan & Test Results)
·  Control the accomplishment of test specifications and the fulfilment of the specification, playing the role of conduction of the test in the execution phase.
·  Define, perform, control and issue all the necessary documentation for the manufacture and mechanical assembly of the test, the analysis neccesary to guaranty the integrity of all elements and tolos that are designed
·  Prepare and coordinate the inspections
·  Participate in the definition of test instrumentation for in-flght load measurements,being the responsible for the obtaining of the expressions for determination of the loads
·  Perform the tracking, control and final approval of the manufacturing of all parts of the tolos (thecnical aspects).
·  Perform the documentation of the test specimen instrumentation.
·  Give the technical support and verify the mechanical assembly
·  Prepare the global planning of the tests throughout all the process

·  Advanced level in English
·  Fluent in Spanish
