Description of the job

A vacancy for a Lean manufacturing Pilot (excellence system) has arisen within STELIA Aerospace in Saint-Nazaire.
You will report to the Saint-Nazaire Site SES manager.

Your tasks will include:

·  Being responsible for the competitiveness plan of your sector and for steering improvement projects and achieving results.
·  Ensuring the deployment of blocks and standards by training and supporting the personnel in your sector.
·  Providing support to the line or department manager.

This position will involve a significant amount of travel to all the STELIA sites.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Supporting the creation and deployment of industrial standard processes/blocks and the assessment of performances for all the sectors of the company.
·  Contributing to the improvement of the company's general performances (productivity, quality, etc.) in terms of robustness, reliability and profitability.
·  Defining and steering the performance projects to meet your sector's objectives.
·  Being a representative of the continuous improvement culture within the company thanks to the deployment of training and by achieving the benchmark.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:

·  Experience in production and methods
·  Experience and knowledge of Lean manufacturing
·  Experience in production management would be a plus
·  Ability to support changes and to lead a work group
·  Results and performance-oriented
·  Excellent communicator
·  English and French: advanced level
