Since its first flight, the A330 has been an example of a highly-innovative aircraft that delivers superior quality and efficiency. As a member of Airbus’ family of widebody jetliners, the A330 benefits from a continuous investment of 150 million euro every year – integrating the latest developments from the A350 and A380 Aircraft Families to maintain its position as the best in its class, well ahead of its competition.

With the arrival of the new engine option (NEO), the A330 Family continues to go from strength-to-strength. Technological advances in modern engines and wing design further enhance the performance of this aircraft; delivering savings on fuel burn while simultaneously helping the environment.

An exciting opportunity exists for you to join Airbus as part of the Wing Engineering team working on the A330 family of Aircraft.

The team is a transnational team so there will be opportunities for you to work within a wide diverse team and with our suppliers.

Tasks:

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include:

·  With over 1,300 Aircraft delivered to more than 100 customers, there will be opportunities for the successful applicant to work on in service engineering tasks to ensure the A330 continues to deliver exceptional Operational reliability to our customers
·  As well as the many in service aircraft, new variants of the A330 are being developed that will allow the successful candidate to work on state of the art aerospace technology using the latest engineering analysis tools, methods and processes.
·  This will be within the A330 Engineering team with an opportunity to work with the wider Airbus Engineering network.
·  The scope of work will be wing specific Structural design and analysis activities, within the A330 Wing Team based in Filton.

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
