Description of the job

An internship position for the Software Development of an Electronic Control Mechanisms using HMI (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space at its Toulouse site.

Airbus DS is currently developing the avionics of its new platform of geostationary telecommunications satellite Eurostar Neo.
The modular architecture of this new equipment uses the CAN bus to interconnect the various functions. During the validation phase of this new avionics, coupling test will be performed in order to demonstrate with equipment representative of the flight, the functional and electrical compatibility of the systems.

The aim of this internship is to develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) to individually set up the various input and output modules via a CAN emulator, during compatibility testing.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility) for a period of approximately 6 months.
