Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will be responsible for:

· Developing embedded real time software for avionics and simulation products,
· Certifying on-board software,
· Delivering expertises on embedded software developments provided by equipment suppliers,
· Developing software enabling products,
· Managing the feasibility analysis and PoC realisation for API xABDC on tablet device Tablet ADBP (Avionics Data Broadcast Protocol - part of Arinc 834 standard) whatever the OS.

This internship will start on 1st February 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Studying current architecture in details,
· Managing derived current architecture for multi-platform,
· Developing the new API xABDC,
· Testing it on target tablet device: iOS, Android,
· Managing possible extension: Study and PoC for transformation from API xABDC to service P/F xABDC (including the limit of sandboxing iOS).

Profil recherché

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an engineering school or university, specialising in IT / Telecom / Network.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.
You have competencies in:

· Software development,
· Languages: Java, C, C++, C#,
· Operating system: iOS, Android, Windows 8,
· Learning of current ADBP implementation (xABDC),
· Technical Feasibility analysis,
· Development of a Proof of Concept: iOS, Android,
· Assessment and report.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
French: negotiation level.
