Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for TRI/TRE Pilots (m/f), to join the Airbus Training Centre.

You will act as Type Rated Examiner (TRE) and Type Rated Instructor (TRI).

You will conduct best possible training and checking according to your qualifications within Airbus Training, to ensure a safe and efficient Entry-into-service and operation of Airbus aircrafts.

You will ensure standardization, development, management tasks during your career within Airbus.

You will report to the Head of Flight Instructors, in the Flight Crew Training organisation at Airbus Training Centre.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following activities:

·  Performing pilot simulator training and/or checking training according to your Airbus Qualifications,
·  Performing Initial Operating Experience (IOE) missions of up to 5 weeks in customer airlines, providing Line Flying under supervision and line checking, according to your Airbus Qualification,
·  Coordinating with customer airlines as required during IOE missions.

Required skills

With a 5-year degree, you have at least 10 years of experience as pilot which have allowed you to acquire 8000 hours of total flight time, including Commercial jet experience (2000 hours as pilot).
You have a valid License ATPL(A)/EASA, as well as valid TRI/TRE qualification on an Airbus Fly By Wire.
You have English proficiency (level 5 minimum) on your license.
You totalize 1000 hours as Pilot in command on Airbus Fly By Wire Aircraft.
You have experience as TRI/TRE on Airbus Fly By Wire Aircraft.
You have experience in OPS : LVO and RVSM (mandatory) / ETOPS and MNPS (desirable)
Experience within a training centre or Airlines would be a plus.
You are recognised for your autonomy, your team spirit and your multitask approach.
You are available for many business trips worldwide and for long periods.
A negotiation level of English is required for this position.
