A vacancy for a WAN Service Owner has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.
IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space.
As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as management careers. Your Role:

Network Services provides the network infrastructure for interaction of devices inside Airbus Defence and Space. The main scope of the Department is the provision of network services in France for LAN, WAN, Firewall and IP infrastructure services, in line with the company strategy and the French Regulation.
As WAN Service Owner, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of WAN service, whether it is a customer-facing one (visible to the user) or a supporting one (not visible to the user), including financials and regardless of where the underpinning technology components, processes or professional capabilities reside
You will work closely with the other team members, subcontractors, projects/program managers, Service Delivery Managers, Security Officers, business representatives and other IT teams, in France and across Europe.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Handle Wide Area Network projects, incidents & problems, changes management for France
·  Organize and chair the Airbus Wide Area Network Change Board for all country at Airbus Defense & Space level
·  Participe to the Airbus Wide Area Network Change Board at Airbus Group level
·  Single focal point for Projects, incidents & problems management for France
·  Act as the primary interface between the Service Provider and Airbus Defense & Space
·  Develop and implement the corrective or improvement plans whenever defined
·  Perform causal and action studies to minimize risks of reoccurrence
·  Support the IT Product Manager in continuous monitoring of the supplier performance against appropriate SLAs

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline
·  Knowledge of network infrastructure
·  Ability to understand customer expectations & needs
·  Previous experience in Partner & Subcontractor Management would be an asset
·  Ability to manage projects

Experience in Agile project methodologies is a plus (i.e. SCRUM)

·  Good communication and presentation skills
·  Team player and curious mindset
·  Language Skills: negotiation level of English & French
