Description of the job
A permanent job opportunity has arisen for a Pylon Stress Engineer (m/f) within Airbus to be based on the Toulouse Saint-Eloi site in France.
You will join the Stress Single Aisle (SA) Pylons department, within SA Pylons design office.

Tasks & accountabilities
Within the series Pylon Design Office, you will have to make detailed stress analysis (Static and Fatigue damage tolerance of Pylon primary and secondary structure but also System installation).
You will perform specific analysis using Airbus Methods and Tools.
You will have to specify, launch, check and validate deliverables from External partners and suppliers.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Supporting Manufacturing by ensuring compliance of a high production rate product,
· Supporting Manufacturing improvement for time and cost efficiency,
· Supporting in-service Aircraft operators by approving repairs, adaptations,
· Supporting continuous improvement of the product to maximize company and operators profitability,
· Ensuring airworthiness of the whole fleet, from in production to in service aged aircraft,
· Managing suppliers' activities (tasks definition, deliverables follow-up activities).
The physical perimeter is the SA Pylon area with interfaces with Engine mounts and Wings.
Your main interfaces will be:
· Airbus Design Offices : materials, Aerodynamics, Loads, Weight and Balance, Design and Stress skills,
· Saint-Eloi Plant and Final Assembly Line (FAL),
· Customer service,
· SA Program,
· Suppliers,
· Airbus Cutomer Services.
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· At least 3 year-experience in Technical structure stress,
· Reactivity and adaptability,
· English intermediate level,
· French would be an asset.
