Description of the job

A position of Program Controller Telecoms Satellites (m/f) has just opened within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the Telecoms Finance (TFST) department.

As Project Controller you will be fully responsible for the Satellite Profit & Loss and cash flow performance, supporting the project manager on all financial aspects.

You will work in a transnational environment, covering activities across several sites in Europe.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be in charge of the following main activities:

·  Managing your program Profit & Loss and cash flow performance ( Customer invoices payment raising & tracking)
·  Producing monthly financial transnational reporting (UK+France) on program Key Performance Indicators, comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast ( Sales, Margin, Cost, & Cash)
·  Monitoring carefully your costs within IFRS15 transition
·  Performing monthly foreign currency forecast updates (GBP, USD, CAD, JPY).
·  Ensuring the program control of Prime & Mechanical Platform & Payload & Antenna activities. Coordination role.
·  Analyzing project cost performance: follow Satellite activities by ensuring a link close with operational; identifying activities under-over estimation
·  Anticipating & reporting monthly project risks and opportunities. Participating in monthly project risk reviews.
·  Assisting the Project Manager with the preparation of the Monthly Project Review [MPR] packs, Key Project Review [KPR] packs.

Business travels can be expected in Europe (mostly in the UK) occasionally and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the experience and the following skills:

·  Academic 5 year degree degree in Economic Studies, Business Administration or equivalent
·  Strong Finance background and deep understanding on finance processes
·  Ability to deliver within deadlines
·  Ability to deal with various stakeholders and all levels of management
·  Proven knowledge of Excel, SAP, BW
·  Critical thinking, good analytical skills
·  Language skills: level advanced of English and French
