Description of the job

A vacancy for a Procurement Manager - Customer Service (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

You will join the Proprietary Parts Spares Sourcing Department.

You will be responsible for the implementation of AIRBUS Procurement actions on a portfolio of aerostructure and material spares for all Airbus programmes including legacy programme ATL & Transall.

You will contribute to Multi Functional Team (MFT) and Sub-Commodity Multi-Functional Team activities.

You will support the definition and implemention of the aerostructure and material spares Sub-Commodity Strategies and will be in charge of the Procurement Process for your perimeter.

In close alignment with the MFT Leader you will have responsibility for :

·  Managing the process of suppliers selection
·  Strategic purchasing of the respective aerostructure and material spares
·  Compliance with applicable Airbus procedures
·  Enforcing and updating applicable contracts throughout the aerostructure and material spares life cycle including the negotiation linked to change requests
·  Managing the business interface with part of the supplier base
·  Supporting the achievement of Cost Reduction Targets for your perimeter

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Implementing & ensuring application of the aerostructure and material spares Sub-Commodity & Procurement Strategy in close cooperation with MFT Leader and in accordance with A213x and other applicable Airbus APs.
·  Contributing to the Material Procurement policy and profitability including customer support affairs.
·  Planning and implementing cost reduction campaigns and projects.
·  Running call for tender processes, negotiating changes requests, managing corresponding approval and authorization processes and ensuring associated ordering (NRC ordering and Master Data management).
·  Supporting the definition and implementation of supplier rating and development programs in close cooperation with Procurement Strategy and Procurement Operations and ensuring appropriate follow-up of development measures.
·  Working with representatives of other functions in accordance with business requirements. Key focus is legacy aircraft programmes function.
·  Being in charge of the contract management, performing regular contract reviews in order to (i) guarantee compliance between

contract terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier (ii) proactively managing risks and (iii) managing deviations and litigations by taking appropriate actions to protect Airbus' interest.

·  Conducting portfolio analysis and developing strategies of all legacy spares parts in co-operation with key stakeholders considering product and sales policy and potential synergies across Airbus Group.

This role will involve some travels in France and in Europe once a month to visit suppliers for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5-yr degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or Business, or related discipline.
·  Procurement background
·  Efficient project management
·  Effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
·  Financial key indicators knowledge
·  Experience in cost reduction initiatives
·  Ability to drive improvement & innovation to concrete results
·  In depths know-how of the Aerostructure and Material market
·  Customer Service business experience
·  Excellent presentation and communication skills
·  Ability to work in an international context
·  Autonomous
·  Change mindset
·  Advanced level of English
·  Minimum intermediate level of French would be a plus
