A vacancy for an OpenStack Cloud Architect (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Digital Accelerator Department.

With the Digital Transformation of Airbus, the information technology of the company is completely redesigned, looking for creating added value for the business. Cloud is one of the main enabler of this transformation. In that context, Airbus IT teams are entirely reshaped and looking for new skills & potentials.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Designing the infrastructure to be implemented in the Private Cloud for application products via high-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services then use "infrastructure as a code" concepts to implement designed infrastructure in collaboration with SREs team,
·  Reshaping traditional IT environment and designing to enable Cloud Platforms adoption to our business,
·  Contributing to design and implement new infrastructure operating model making best use of cloud solutions,
·  Designing, implementing, managing and deploying our digital transformation where the Cloud technology is a key enabler,
·  Providing means for our businesses to further innovate and/or speed-up innovation.

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Bachelor to Master Degree in a Technical/IT discipline or equivalent experience
·  Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RHEL or CentOS preferred)
·  Experience building and deploying OpenStack cloud solutions
·  Proven track record in an Agile/DevOps environment
·  Good scripting ability in Python, Go, Java, Bash or JavaScript
·  Experience with OS Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)
·  OpenStack core Infrastructure design & tools such as CEPH, Zabbix, AVI LBaaS, Cisco ACI, Object Storage, SecOps, etc.
·  Passion for emerging technology and excited at the prospect of building upon your existing technical knowledge and learning new skills,
·  Strong analytical problem solving ability
·  Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices
·  Negotiation level of English
