Description of the job

A vacancy for an Internship on the study and implementation of an ISO 27001 certification procedure (M/F) has arisen within Airbus OneWeb Satellites.

With a view to evaluating information security management and estimating the maturity of its Information System, Airbus OneWeb Satellites (AOS) SAS wants to launch a preliminary study and implementation of an ISO 27001 certification procedure.
AOS works in the space sector on the Airbus Palays site (near Labège). The company has a relatively recent information system, which is subject to stringent security requirements. AOS works with a significant quantity of 'sensitive' data for its business. For this reason it would like to identify the policies to be drafted and the procedures to be applied to improve its information security management.
This procedure is part of a continuous improvement policy specific to organisation values.

Start date: May/June 2019 (to be defined with the successful candidate)

Duration: 4 - 6 months (to be defined with the successful candidate)

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and activities will include:

• Security: Check or set up good security and ISS measures to guarantee the correct level of protection for our information.
• IT: You will report to the IT department. The study will mainly be performed from an IT viewpoint. An IT culture is essential for a good grasp of the topic, even if you have specialised in a different field.
• Documentation: Production of documents, procedures and policies in French (and possibly in English).

The internship will be supervised by the AOS SAS Information Security Systems Manager (Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor). We currently have a good overview of the target to be reached but the intern will be fully autonomous with regard to how he/she will achieve it.

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

• Enginnering/IT/Security Master studies in progress
• Interest in concept of standards and certifications,although your knowledge of the topic is still limited
