Description of the job
A vacancy for a Numerical Simulation & Structure Analysis has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will deal with multi-program activities based on numerical simulation (Detailed Finite Element Model & Global Finite Element Model) in close cooperation with stress teams and architects for new development and future projects. You will be involved in the preparation of the future Methods & Tools strategy

Tasks & accountabilities
· Support the stress team by endorsing official stress studies dedicated to certification of new development : provide input for sizing loops, assess loads or stiffness evolution, loads monitoring during flight test campaign
· Support the stress teams by endorsing trade studies dedicated to maintenance of the fleet ( fatigue and static)
· Support the stress teams by endorsing trade studies dedicated to new development of the fleet ( fatigue and static)
· Support the stress teams by providing input for preparation of the major repairs : jacking procedure, first assessment of the impact in term of safety ( first sizing approach) , either for FAL or in service fleet.
· Support to the FAL teams, allowing to improve assembly process.
· Support the department architects and integrators by providing trade studies in term of pre-sizing process in the frame of future projects launched at structure level.
· In addition to these above program activities , develop competences in term of digitalisation continuity , from Design to manufacturing
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Educated to a master degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering
· Can be recently graduated from a mechanical engineering school candidate
· Knowledge of numerical simulation based on finite element model method
· Knowledge of sizing process and test would be a plus
· Practice of PATRAN/NASTRAN would be appreciated
· Practice of VBA, MATLAB is desirable
· Open-minded for new aircraft development and digitalization approach
· Customer oriented
· Ability to deliver on-time on-quality
· Advanced level in English
