Description of the job

A vacancy for a Procedure Designer (m/f) has arisen within Navblue in Toulouse.
NAVBLUE is a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to the development of value added flight operations and ATM (Air Traffic Management) services for Airlines, ANSPs, (Air navigation service providers), Airports and other OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). NAVBLUE's ambition is to devise innovative solutions and operational concepts enhancing operations that may require specific aircraft capabilities.
Within the Airspace Solutions group, aiming at selling services associated to ATM modernization, the jobholder will be in charge of designing Instrument Flight Procedures (IFP) procedures, in particular but not limited to Performance Based Navigation (PBN) procedures.
You will conduct design of In Flight Procedures,
You will deliver technical dossier relevant to the design of such procedures,
You will support the Chief Designer in transverse activities, such as getting the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) certification, and representing NAVBLUE at ICAO panels.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

·  Designing procedures using NAVBLUE licensed design tool,
·  Delivering procedure charts using NAVBLUE licensed tool,
·  Ensuring that the NAVBLUE processes put in place for Airspace activities (in particular procedure design one) are used during project delivery,
·  Participating and/or deliver presentations to customers regarding procedure design work.

This role will involve (20%) travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Educated to Bac +2/3 level or Aeronautical background.
Knowledge of ARINC 424 coding rules is a plus
Qualification ICAO PANS OPS for IFP (In Flight Procedure) design
Qualification FAA TERPS for IFP (In Flight Procedure) design is a plus.
Knowledge of one IFP design software (GéoTITAN® IFP is desirable)
Team spirit
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work with flexible schedule including travel.
English: advanced level
