Description of the job

A position of MultiSkills "design & stress" ingineer is available at the design office in the A350 Center Wing Box, Root Joint and Keel Beam structural design team.

You will be integrated into the A350 design & Stress Engineering team and will be in charge of carrying out studies and definitions in parallel with the pre-dimensioning and possibly the dimensioning of parts and assemblies.

The perimeters and/or projects in charge will be defined collaboratively with the design and calculation teams.

Tasks & accountabilities

The applicant will have "metallic & composite" calculation activities. He will have to familiarize himself with the tools, methods and processes applicable to the A350 program.

The applicant shall apply the fundamentals and general drawing rules "Morphology of machined and bent parts, draping rules for composite parts, drawing of bolted joints, compatibility of materials".
He will also have to consider the manufacturing aspect (the manufacture of parts and their assemblies).

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to 5 years degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering
·  You have at least 2/3 years of experience with knowledge in Materials Resistance.
·  Knowledge in CAD, Catia, finite elements (Nastran, Patran, Hyperworks)
·  You are able to work in a multifunctional team and deal with complexity.
·  You have strong communication skills
·  You have strong learning skills
·  English: advanced level
·  French : advanced level
