Description of the job
A vacancy for a Module Developer (m/f) for Test Facilities has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join " Rig Development".
Desired profile
Tasks & accountabilities
The main department "Weapon System Rigs" in the area "A/C Rigs, Benches & Simulation" at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is responsible for the engineering of all test facilities at the site, which are used for avionics and flight control (hydraulics) for the qualification and certification of the corresponding systems. For this purpose, everything from future concepts to design, development and acceptance of the systems to operation and maintenance is offered from a single source. In addition, Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGEs) and Rig Support Equipment are developed and supported.
The main clients come from the Eurofighter, Tornado and unmanned aircraft programmes (HAPS, MALE, e-Aircraft), but also from
technology projects.
Your main tasks include:
· Responsibility for the development and support of test facilities for the acceptance of real aircraft Hardware & Software.
· Implementation of new developments and major modifications of test facilities due to aircraft upgrades.
· Development of specifications for test facilities
· Integration of the overall system and verification of its functionalities
· Ensuring qualification processes and quality standards
· Technical project management with customers and suppliers

Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· University Degree in Electronic Science or similar
· Working Experience in Engineering
· Working Experience in Project Management
· English and German fluent
