Description of the job :
A vacancy for an environmental qualification responsible has arisen within AIRBUS Avionics and Simulation domain (Airbus Commercial Aircraft - TOULOUSE).

Avionics and Simulation organization is an in-house avionics equipment and simulators supplier. Engineers in this domain are responsible for the design, the development, the production and the support of critical embedded products (e.g. Flight Controls, Flight Warning, Communication, Maintenance equipment) for all Airbus aircrafts. This organization is also Chamber of Reference on Software and Electronics thanks to highly skilled and experienced teams. The scope of activities also extends to other Airbus divisions and partners in some cases.

Within Avionics and Simulation organization, the Electronics products department is a team of more than 150 persons in charge of designing, industrializing and manufacturing AIRBUS Avionics equipment. You will evolve in an industrial world and be directly connected with the different teams.

As environmental qualification responsible, you will contribute to Avionics equipment project developments.

You will have the opportunity to get exposed to different disciplines within a project organization.

Task & accountabilities :

Your key responsibilities and missions will include to:

- Define the environmental qualification strategy,
- Specify the test means (Test bench and testing software) and follow their development.
- Steer the environmental qualification tests campaign
- Provide the environmental qualification dossier for declaration of conformity and certification.
- Guarantee the respect of the schedule and the associated budget.

Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Engineering, specialised in Electronics (or equivalent)
- An experience in electronics product/system testing would be a plus
- Knowledge in avionics products development and certification processes
- Knowledge in environmental conditions (electrical, electromagnetic, mechanical and thermal)
- Autonomous, attention to details and rigorous.
- Language Skills: Advanced level of French, an intermediate level of English.
