Description of the job
A vacancy for a Mass Properties Engineer (m/f) has arisen within the Contractual Mass Properties domain of Airbus in Toulouse, France.
Your mission will be to provide Mass Properties support to Airbus commercial and contractual teams. You will operationally report to the Marketing Activity Coordinator.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Delivering mass properties data for Airbus Marketing and Sales teams.
· Analysing aircraft configurations for the mass and optimization.
· Supplying mass properties data for assessment of Aircraft Performance.
· Supplying and negotiating mass properties guarantees for Airline contracts.
· Providing expertise on mass properties during sales campaigns.
· Supporting the customisation process for CDF (Configuration Definition Freeze).
· Approving mass properties documentation for aircraft delivery.
· Supporting queries from internal customers: programme, cabin, marketing, fleet customisation team and customer support.
· Supporting Technical Skill Leaders on Process improvement.
This role will involve around 2 business trips per year (in Europe) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Engineering degree in Aerospace with a first experience in Flight Physics.
· Good understanding of Aircraft Loadability, Aircraft Mass Properties.
· Experience in Overall Aircraft Design would be a plus.
· Basic Project Management skills would be a plus.
· Agile and open minded; team player with strong communication skills and customer focus.
· Negotiation level in English.
