Description of the job
A vacancy for a MAP (FAL and Flight Test) Stress Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.
The Wing MAP is a dynamic team, troubleshooting Flight Test Centre, Final Assembly Line, and Delivery Centre issues.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Delivering technical solutions in support of build, test and delivery of aircraft,
· Liaising with Flight Test Centre, Final Assembly Line and Delivery Centre,
· Communicating with surrounding international departments,
· Working flexibly, including on call on a rotational basis,
· Supporting cross-program Wing MAPs, with travel opportunities,
· Managing Product Improvement activities.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
The work is based in the Final Assembly Lines in Toulouse, although the candidate will need to spend short periods in other factories (including abroad
· Filton, Hamburg, Broughton) depending on activity.

Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Highly motivated, proactive and team player,
· Committed in their own development to learn new skills,
· Good knowledge of structures Stress Analysis (metallic and/or composite),
· Wing structures knowledge and/or awareness of structural repair techniques would be an advantage,
· Abilities to develop Stress delegation,
· Ability to write and speak French or willing to learn,
· Negotiation level in English.
