Description of the job

A position as Machine Learning Voice Recognition within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEAYA-TL7 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main accountabilities of this position will be to:

·  Participate in the choice of the architecture for integrating theoretical model functionalities by mean of deep learning techniques.
·  Development and integration of predictive models and modeling by machine learning in the appropriate environment, mainly laboratory rigs oriented to final Aircraft integration.
·  Participate in the integration of new analysis techniques (NLP, Machine learning, Speech Recognition)
·  Contribute to the development of learning scenarios, testing and validation of implemented solutions.
·  Leading of Technological projects for CSJU, CDTI and so on for funding.
·  The production documents output the study and products.
·  Ensure a technological watch on scoped technologies.
·  Participate in the interface with researchers in Telecom Universities to which Airbus Defense & Space contributes.
·  Collaborate in the dissemination of knowledge; papers and research publication, training inside company in different national and international forums.
·  Performing a continuous state of the art of the different industries which develop specific hardware and software solution:

o Investigating the use and reliability of existing technology to help pilots in operation
o Defining interesting operational use-cases in which the use of such hardware & software would be interesting to promote.
o Performing operational tests on a platform to prove the relevance of using such hardware/software for pilots in operation and HMI assessment.

The jobholder will have ability to:

·  Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements
·  Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates
·  Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements
·  Work closely sharing both industrial and functional design view, from the very early stages of the design through the serial production phase and up to the in- service life of the product (whole product lifecycle), working in close collaboration between the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and any other disciplines involved throughout the whole product lifecycle. Understand the organization, infrastructure, constraints and limitations of program industrial planning. Understand global systems/products and their interdependencies during industrialization phase.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a degree in general engineering or a PhD in applied Engineer, Computer Sciences or Mathematics with specialization in speech processing, recognition, natural language processing, or machine learning.
·  Experience in publication and international networking on described technologies.
·  Experience and knowledge in many of the following areas:

o Requirement specification by means of DOORS and or MBSE,
o Automatic Speech recognition (ASR),
o Natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning,
o Artificial Neural Network deep learning models,
o Regressions model, data analytics, multivariate/variance analysis,
o Classical speech recognition technologies; Templates, HMM,
o Big-Data, Distributed Computing: Spark (GPU computing is a plus),
o IP Stacks and Protocols, VoIP, H323, SIP, and audio codec Equip.,

·  Project management :Less than 3 years
·  Team management :Less than 3 years
·  At least 2 years of experience in software development and scripting languages:
·  C ++, Python, Julia, Perl, Matlab, Simulink.
·  Environment: Fedora / Linux Redhat / Centos
·  English :Negotiation level
·  Spanish :Fluent
