Description of the job

IT within Airbus is a Transnational Organisation mirroring the Industrial landscape. IT is currently undergoing a major Digital Transformation programme refocusing on IT Product and Technology Service teams with an End-to-End (E2E) accountability and full responsibility for the value proposition.
The IT team based in Toulouse has a vacancy in the Logistics team for a Logistics Business Analyst, with focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)..

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Airbus currently has a major project focusing on improving the E2E Worldwide Supply Chain processes and solutions to improve real-time visibility. Working as part of a Multi-functional team you will be expected to understand the current and future business needs and proactively propose opportunities for business transformation/improvement enabled by technology. You will manage Logistics Transformation in Airbus dealing with new concepts and speeding up implementation of new technologies (eg: eWM, Internet of Things).

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Conduct in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the customer, with recommendations on automation
·  Produce documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for clients
·  Define and develop the required specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and Product team members
·  Monitors external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements
·  Serve as liaison between Product Management teams and technical resources during development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered
·  Propose and set-up Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and to contribute to future IT strategies
·  Work closely in a Multi-Functional Team to ensure the consistency and alignment of this solution with the global strategy and operational constraints

Required skills

·  Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Warehouse Management (WM), or possibly other WMS recognized on the market (e.g. PSIwms)
