Description of the job

A vacancy for a Know Your Customer (KYC) Financial Analyst has arisen within Airbus in Blagnac. You will join the "Customer Financial Analysis" department.

You will be in charge of providing management and various internal customers with:

·  Airlines credit ratings and financial outlook,
·  Regional and topical analysis related to airline/lessor financial situation,
·  Industry financial outlook,
·  Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk assessment for our customers together with KYC - AML “community” (Ethics and Compliance, Treasury, Commercial),

Your main objectives will be :

·  Promote KYC - AML knowledge and awareness,
·  Supporting customer on-boarding with KYC - AML and credit risk assessment,
·  Supporting aircraft deliveries by analysing and assessing AML risk,
·  Contributing to the improvement of AML process and tools,
·  Promoting KYC - AML understanding and awareness across functions and divisions.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Analysing customer' corporate / shareholder structure to identify beneficiaries,
·  Analysing customer financials to detect possible un-usual financial profile,
·  Analysing origin of funds,
·  Providing recommendations,
·  Establishing and improve analytical tools to enhance AML test,
·  Contributing to tool and process improvement within the Group,
·  Contributing to develop and deliver AML training,
·  Contributing to AML reporting. Activities are closely coordinated with Ethics and Compliance, Customer Affairs, Customer Finance and the Airbus AML officer.

In addition to your core AML activity, you will contribute to FOSC's Customer Financial analysis activities:

·  Analysing and monitoring the financial health of airlines, including credit rating assessment,
·  Analysing our customer's business models and competitive environment, including transversal analysis,
·  Performing ad-hoc regional or topical analysis and reporting on various topics related to the industry. This role will involve some travel for business four time or five time a year and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 years degree level (or equivalent) in Finance or a related discipline,
·  At least 3 years' experience in Finance,
·  Excellent analytical skills and a solid knowledge of financial statements/analysis.
·  Understanding of the air transport industry (Airlines, financiers…).
·  Previous experience in KYC - AML due diligence
·  Ability to develop quantitative tools (analytical / forecast tools)
·  Team player and communication skills: ability to interact with peers and various stakeholders (Customer Affairs, Sales Finance, Accounting and Controlling, Ethics & Compliance etc.) in a multicultural environment and to share best practice
·  Ability to proactively drive and discuss results, to listen to various stakeholders and to provide concise recommendations
·  Reliability – able to produce consistently high-quality results
·  Language Skills: negotiation level of English and Advanced of French.
