Description of the job

A vacancy for a Junior Project Manager and Business Developper (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt. You will join the Simulation Département within the Communications, Intelligence and Security Organisation.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

The Project Manager is fully accountable for the project deliverables. He will lead the following tasks:

·  Programme / project planning and scheduling (work breakdown structure)
·  Risk and opportunity management
·  Performance monitoring (milestones tracking), control and reporting, phase reviews
·  Contractual data configuration control / technical change management
·  Process and tools management
·  Proposals preparation

The Project Manager is the main interface with the customer and keeps a close relationship with him. He ensures customer satisfaction and generates new business opportunities.

He acts in coordination with other Simulation projects and takes part actively to the department roadmap and business development.

The Business Development responsibilities are :

·  Assist the manager and his team in all business development tasks
·  Identify new opportunities
·  Conduct market analysis on targeted market segments
·  Evaluate opportunities related to those market segments
·  Propose an action plan and contribute to his implementation

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to an Engineering or Business School degree (or equivalent) or a related discipline
·  A first experience in Project Management would be appreciated
·  Good communication skills
·  Coordination and organisational abilities.
·  Analysis and synthesis capacities.
·  Language Skills: negotiation level in French and advanced level in English.
