The amazing Airbus Flight Physics family is looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to work at the heart of our Aeronautic industry: Aircraft Performance Engineering!
· Aircraft Performance *** is one of the key aspect for an Airline to decide to buy an Aircraft. Performance is involved from the Design phase to the end of the Aircraft life. Activities are related to Aircraft Flight Physics and Flight Dynamics in different areas such as Landing, Take-Off and Cruise Performance, and also Aircraft Models Calibration.

All our vacancies for our Aircraft Performance recruitment campaign are to be based in Toulouse, France.
Tasks & accountabilities
· Our main activity *** is to establish Airbus Aircraft Overall Performance, provide all required Performance Software and Data for internal and external users, from Pre-Development phase, to Certification and Support In Service.
· The objective *** is to extract the maximum Performance from a given Aircraft Design, in compliance with regulations, for the best operational use by the Airlines.
If you apply against this Airbus Aircraft Performance recruitment campaign you will be considered against a multiplicity of opportunities within our team. Depending of your skills and profile, your activities will cover some of the following taks:
· Participation to the flight test campaign strategy, preparation and follow up including flight test briefing and telemetry follow-up.
· Elaboration, validation and justification of aircraft performance model based on Flight Tests results.
· Big data in-service analysis to adjust aircraft performance model.
· Support customers through in service problems analysis.
· Elaboration of technical dossiers and demonstration in front of the airworthiness authorities.
· Your future interfaces *** : the Flight Test, Aerodynamic and Customer support teams.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

· Engineering degree in Aeronautics with at least a first professional experience or an internship / apprenticeship in one or several following areas: Aircraft Flight Physics, Modelling, Identification, Flight Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Braking or Flight Operations.
· Additional knowledge in Data Processing (including big data analytics), Algorithmic and object-oriented programming would be a plus.
· Ability to propose new concepts, simplify and support change with leadership.
· We are looking for candidates with a great team spirit and collaborative mind set.
· Advanced level in French and English is required.
