Description of the job

A project and application manager for the Product Lifecycle Management position has arisen in Airbus Helicopters in Marignane in the information management department.
You will join a highly motivated team dealing with new technologies for the development of the technical management of helicopters data, which are the reference for the different status of the aircraft all along its lifecycle.
A tight relationship with the different businesses contributes to feel part of a privileged environment being close to the product.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Main activities will consist in
Application management

·  Be accountable for the application availability with respect to the negotiated level of service
·  Ensure the bug fixing and the design-implementation of change requests solutions for relevant PLM disciplines in close relationship with Method and tools, key users and external solutions providers
·  Be the Information Management focal point for the application stakeholders

Project management

·  Be accountable for the design and the implementation of solutions for relevant PLM disciplines in close relationship with Method and tools, key users and external solutions providers
·  Be accountable for data migration activities, implementation of interfaces for relevant projects
·  Be the Information Management focal point for the project stakeholders

Contribution to the PLM solutions governance

·  Be part of a multifunctional area involving all the stakeholders of PLM domain
·  Contribute to the definition of a global strategy for PLM solutions
·  Liaise with other AIRBUS business units for knowledge exchanges and strategy convergence

Product and service management

·  Steer customization and contribute to platform integration
·  Specify and develop solutions in close link with business and respect to IS strategy and methodology
·  Manage subcontractors relying on existing contracts, contribute to the contracts improvement

Required skills

Educated to a 5 years Degree in engineering or a related discipline.

Prerequisites:

·  Experience of minimum 3 years in an information system department
·  Experience of minimum 3 years in project management
·  PLM processes, PLM disciplines, work in an Extended Enterprise context
·  Experience in PLM solutions implementation (PTC solutions, Dassault Systemes 3D Experience)
·  Other technologies : Oracle, SQL Server, Java, UNIX

Knowledge about the other technologies would be a plus: SAP, ESB TIBCO, IoT

Language level: Negotiation level of English and Negotiation level of French
