Description of the job

A vacancy for an IT Process & Quality Assurance Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the Information Management team and will be responsible for the definition and deployment of Process Management throughout Information Management in France.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Within this context, you will be in charge of the following main activities:

·  Projects:

o Supporting major Company Projects IM is part of (e.g. 901 Project) on Quality aspects,

·  Business Management System (BMS):

o Creating, animating and maintaining a process network made up of the main stakeholders across IM in France in order to establish a strong process improvement culture and to secure the relevant certification of accomplishment (EN9100 certification aspects),
o Aligning with the central BMS governance at Airbus DS IM on a regular basis,
o Communicating across the IM France process network on central ADS BMS Governance (TOIG, TOL, TOQ,etc.) directives, terminologies and objectives (e.g. Processes & Doc Management Infrastructure),
o Being responsible for BMS/Process management topics across IM France in the respective forums,
o Establishing reporting on those topics.

·  Quality Assurance:

o Supporting audit campaigns in the France to overcome and maintain the different certifications in IM Airbus Defence and Space,
o Drumbeating action plans and improvement opportunities for the different services
o Being responsible for the main initiatives in IM Performance and Optimisation scope of work in France as part of the Audit and Continuous Improvement team.
This role will involve some travel for business (once every three months in Europe) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Engineering degree or Master's degree,
·  3 years of experience in quality and/or governance and/or operations, ideally in an IT domain,
·  EN 9100 and/or ISO 9001 auditing certification to conduct internal audits and to support external audits in France,
·  knowledge in Lean, problem solving & product lifecycle,
·  Knowledge of IT and IM environment would be a plus
·  skills in project management/coordination,
·  Systems thinking and ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking),
·  Interpersonal skills, collaboration, facilitation, conflict management and negotiation skills,
·  ability to work in an international environment and an open mind,
·  adaptable and team spirit,
·  negotiation level of French and English.
