Description of the job

An alternating offer entitled "STUDY ON THE STATE OF THE ART OF SPATIAL SURVEILLANCE AND PROTOTYPING BASED ON THE I4D PRODUCT (M/F)" has just been launched at Airbus Defence and Space, in Toulouse.
You will join the ImInt & GeoInt (Geo Spatial Intelligence) Projects & Products department (more than 20 people), an entity that leads projects, in France and abroad, for the deployment of Intelligence operational centers using space imagery for various application areas, including geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), Image Analysis (IMINT) or any other component. These operational centres consist of a set of hardware (satellite data reception system, computer servers, workstations,...) and software (databases, image and data processing applications), which the client teams must appropriate and then use on a daily basis.
In order to ensure these missions, the I4D (intelligence For Decision) product has been developed for more than 7 years and used by thousands of users.
A study is under way to analyse the use of I4D in Space Surveillance missions, particularly on space debris.
This internship will start in April 2018 (date subject to flexibility) and will last 6 months.
