Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space Satellites (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 5-month internship.

Over the course of your internship, you will be involved in increasing the operational skills of new X-ray inspection equipment.

This internship will start on 6th March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  In an operational situation, measuring and validating the radiation dose received by our equipment in specific operating conditions,
·  Using these specific measurements, constructing projected curves that would enable us to evaluate the doses received for the other components,
·  Creating automatic inspection programmes with critical components,
·  Delivering training support to the production team to easily use the programmes you have developed.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, the second year of a Master's degree or the 5th year of university, specialising in Materials, more specifically in Materials/Dosimetry/Instrumentation.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
