Description of the job

Airbus (Blagnac) is looking for a Web Engineer / 360° Imagery intern (m/f) for a 4 to 6-month internship.

In the context of Digital Transformation within the company, the production sector for Airbus flight tests aims to implement new tools to both improve its operation and innovate.

You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering sector and more specifically to the Airbus Flight Test Support department.

This internship will start beginning of January (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Understanding the overall missions of the organisation,
·  Developing and implementing the use of virtual inspections (360° inspections) in our test aircraft: discovery of the measurement tool, software, implementation in aircraft, creation of viewing ranges, tests, user training and deployment,
·  Developing the use of new Airbus IT tools (equivalent to social networks) to enable collaborative work via these new media: Design Office sectors, manufacturing engineering, logistics and production shall use this collaborative platform long term, rather than working together and communicating via email,
·  Setting up the Flight Test Centre Support website.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree, or in the 5th year of an engineering school or university, specialising in image processing.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and are interested in the industrial and/or aeronautics sector.

You have skills in IT and website development. Knowledge of digital imaging and image processing would be a plus.

You are known for your inquisitiveness.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
