Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

"Avionics and simulation products" domain develop and sell embedded computers spare components and repair services as an OEM inside Airbus (Flight controls, flight warning, Air Traffic Communication, etc.) on the wide range of Airbus aircrafts (A320, A330, A400M, A380, A350, etc.).

You will join the avionics customer support under the scope of "Commercial and regional
services" group which is accountable for managing the selling of goods, services and financial data.

You will be in charge of leading a project and developing a business management tool to increase sales and marketing productivity (decision system support tool, providing an easy user experience with simple, autonomous and configurable access to all commercial and financial data).

This internship will start on 20th March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Getting the right sales data at the right time levering the smartest decisions in a quick changing environment,
·  Providing reporting and dash boarding ensuring a real-time picture of the business at a glance,
·  Allowing digging deeper with detailed reports. From a technical point of view, the system will use raw data issued from our ERP,
·  Structuring, analysing and intuitively organising data and presenting it with configurable dashboard and report,
·  Working with Airbus business project standard process (scope definition, As-Is, To-Be

and development) with the help of your supervisor.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree, or in the 5th year of an Engineering school, or university, specialising in Computer Science.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain.

You have knowledge of:

·  Software engineering,
·  Web based application (php), windev, talend, Microsoft Excel,
·  Databases (MySQL, SQLite, Oracle), data mining,
·  UML, Merise,
·  Open source software, Eclipse.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
