Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 5-6 month internship.

The Operation Products team develops a whole suite of software products to monitor and operate satellites from ground control centres.
You will join the team in order to contribute to the development of OneFleet product, an internal website, used by various kind of users that improve centralisation and analysis of satellite data.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Using the latest web technologies, your main tasks will include:

·  Understanding the One Fleet environment,
·  Analysing design and costing migration from Angular JS V1.X to Angular JS 2.X,
·  Implementing the migration using Agile process (SCRUM),
·  Testing the solution with GUI automatic test,
·  Prototyping a web 2D/3D earth representation to display satellite information.

Required skills

You are in the second year of a Master's Degree or in the fifth year of Engineering school specialising in Information Technology or equivalent.

You maintain a strong knowledge of the programming language Java as well as a good knowledge of Javascript and HTML.

Ideally you possess some knowledge in the software development environments Eclipse and GIT.

You are able to develop a good understanding of new technologies in a limited amount of time.

Curiosity, proactivity and open-mindedness describe your way of working as well as good organisational skills.
Finally you possess good synthesis skills in order to make sense of a large amount of data.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level
French: Intermediate level.
