Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters Marignane is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

This internship contains one topic for support to serial life and one topic concerning our current developments.

This internship will start on 6th March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of a serial application (H125 helicopter) you will have to develop a tool for analyzing and using flight data.
The tool will be developed on an industry wide-spread Platform (Microsoft Excel) so that it can be easily deployable to other engineers.
The developed tool shall be presented and validated to the targeted users (Design office, Support, Flight Test office).

The second aspect topic concerns the improvement of our modeling Tools.
You will have to make a state-of-the-art of the different available industry tool for engine simulation, and correlate them with the testing purposes of the powerplant design office.
You will have to use the Tools and assets how they can be integrated in the current development processes. You will finally have to make some recommandations for improving the use of these simulation Tools.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university an engineering school specialising in Engineering / Powerplant Propulsion, Combustion / Simulations, Modeling / Robotics, Automatic Systems.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain.

In order to successfully achieve these goals, you must be comfortable with C/C++/Java languages and with web technologies (REST APIs, JSon, web presentation).
Advanced skills with Visual Basic programming is mandatory.

You are a good team player and and have excellent interpersonal skills.
