Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 3/4-month internship. This internship will start in April/May 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Airbus Defence and Space is developing a set of products using MDA (Model Driven Architecture) and object oriented programming languages. These dedicated applications require an accurate evaluation process in term of performance, robustness, and development.

These products are based on Object Oriented programming and Java ; They target several fields of applications to design, test and operate our satellites. They are used by Airbus Defence and Space teams and by external customers. You will participate to the design, development and improvement of evaluation tools, test automation frameworks and products updates.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Study the software requirements and verification plan.
·  Design and develop advanced verification scenarios and framework.
·  Analyze the performance and coverage of verification.
·  Prototype and perform products evaluation and extensive analysis.
·  Design and implement improvement of evaluated products.

You will be integrated in the development team and work in particular with each software product manager.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  You are currently studying a BAC+2 / BAC+3 in Computer Science / IT specialising in Software Development and looking for a 3-4 months internship.
·  Experience in Object-oriented & Java Programming language.
·  Knowledge of Eclipse framework and associated technologies is appreciated.
·  Understanding products requirements and software architectures.
·  Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodology
·  You are autonomous, proactive and are recognised for your analytical and synthesis skills.
·  You have an advanced level in French and intermediate level in English.
