Description of the job

A vacancy for an internship in automatic documentation generation has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse. You will join the Engineering Products & Space Physics F department.
The Operation Products team develops a whole suite of software products to monitor and operate satellites from ground control centres. The software development environment is shared within the team on various projects (mainly Java based projects), and one of its features is the automatic documentation generation. The goal of this internship will be to set up a better way to produce user manuals, easy to write and upgrade for software developers, and with a nice rendering for end users.
This internship will start in March/April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within this context, you will :

·  Get familiar with the current software development environment
·  Gather the various requirements for the manuals documentation features
·  Analyse the various possible technical solutions
·  Prototype the solution on a project
·  Implement, document and test the final solution.

The internship will be managed in Agile, using the SCRUM methodology.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Currently studying a degree up to 3 years in software development or related,
·  Some knowledge of Java and ideally Eclipse environment,
·  Knowledge of Web technologies (HTML, Javascript, Selenium) would be a plus,
·  Advanced level of French and intermediate level of English.
